Yesterday we went to the Blue Bell icecream factory. We missed the tour of the factory but we were able to walk around and visit the country store there. And of course we each got to get a free scoop of ice cream. It was very tasty. The kids had such a great time. It helped that they were with the Christensen and Elliott families. We couldn't experience something new in Texas without our Texas families. After we went to the factory we found a large field of bluebonnet's. They were so beautiful. We took lots of photos in the field that turned out great. Jack was laying in the flowers for a photo when he was attacked by a ton of fire ants. He has about 30 bites all over his left arm. I felt so bad for him. All in all though it was a great day and everyone had a blast.

We have blue bonnets in bloom here, too, but I haven't found a meadow of them. They're so pretty.
April these photos are awesome! I wish we had places like that here to take photos. These pictures remind me of those pictures us girls took up at camp one year in the field with flowers.
