Blake's 2nd Birthday
Blake celebrated his birthday without any big harrah. I had the flu and was sick from the pregnancy. I don't remember the last time I was so sick. I hadn't bought him a present or anything. I think I officially took the worlds worst mom award that day. Luckly, Grandma and Grandpa Boulter had sent money for a gift and so Wes took the kids to Cici's pizza to have some fun while I stayed home in bed. Thanks to some great friends Blake did have a couple presents. The Christensen's bought him a little laptop that he loves and the Elliott's brought him a giant puppy with his own little puppy bed. Blake was so excited he could barely stand it. We are so lucky to have such great friends and family.

It finally arrived
Well, after a lot of waiting. The kids finally received their christmas present, the Wii. They received it for christmas but it was defective and so we had to send it back. It finally arrived and the kids couldn't be happier. They have so much playing together. The neighbor kids seem to like it too. I thought they were here a lot before but now I can't get rid of them. They seem to come in masses. Oh well, I would rather have them here than somewhere else.

Baby #6 is on the way!!!!
Well, as most of you know, we were sure that we were done having children. We were and are very content with five children. However, the Lord had other plans and so we are expecting baby number six. I found out on January 2nd and was immediately very overwhelmed. I cried for a lot of that night and the next day. Luckily, I have an amazing husband a great cousin, Jamie, and a fabulous friend, Karen that helped me remember all the positive things that come from having a baby and why it was such a great thing. Then I decided to turn to the Lord for help and added comfort. I was reading in Alma and read about Moroni's people and how they were promised that if they would do as the Lord asked them and followed the commandments they would prosper. I have read this story many times but this time it brought great meaning to me. I was always excited, how could you not be excited about a new baby, but I had to change my mind set a little and I was having a hard time doing that. I was so ready to be out of diapers once and for all and Blake is so close. I was so ready to be able to go somewhere without a little one that I had to watch over all the time, but I guess that will wait for a little longer because we get to do all those things and more. I know that he or she will be a huge blessing to our family and I can't wait til the day that we get to welcome him/her to our family.
I believe, according to the ovulation calendar, that I am due sometime at the beginning of September. Which means that I will have him/her at the end of August. A long hot, humid summer being as big as a whale, I can't wait. However, on the positive side I will have the entire summer with the kids and then the baby will come just as the kids go back to school. That will really help with being able to rest with the three youngest. The Chinese calendar says that it is supposed to be a girl and for Josie's sake I really hope so. She prayed so hard for this baby to join our family. I too would love to have another girl in our family. I would be happy with a boy or a girl, I love both for lots of different reasons.
We asked the kids what names they liked for the baby. If it is a girl we will most likely name her Brielle. Jackson came up with Dallas and Brett for a baby boy. Josie wanted Troy, after Troy Bolton on High School Musical, she said that we could call him Troy Bolton sometimes just for fun. She is a funny little girl. Grandma Boulter said that she liked the name Jett and Grandad Young said that he liked the names Reggie and Tex. All good suggestions but not any that we will probably use. Thanks for the suggestions though. We are always open for suggestions. So let us have them.
We are very excited to have this new baby in our home and are so grateful to have so many friends and family members that will love this baby as much as we do.

Briana's Miracle
Today Briana went in for her 4th round of chemo. She also received the results from her blood work. For those who haven't heard about 2 1/2 months ago Briana, my younger sister, found out that she had stage 4 colon cancer. She is 29 years old with four children. She is in amazing health. In fact, she had run a marathon just weeks before finding out. She ran marathons all the time. She ran the Boston marathon with my other sister in April. It was a huge shock to all of us that anything like this could happen to anyone, but especially Bri. She was not given very positive chances but a priesthood blessing that she received told her differently. She was told in the blessing that she would be completely healed. It has been so wonderful to be able to watch the miracles take place since that blessing. Mom has been out with her most of the time since just before she found out. I am so glad that she is able to be there with her. She had 2 large tumors removed along with several other little ones during a major surgery that she had the week she found out. Before the surgery her blood count was at 460. After the surgery it came back at 146. A healthy persons reading is between 0 and 2. Today she got her blood work back from the doctor and her blood count now is 10. The doctors were amazed at how quickly she has turned around. Bri said the nurses were astounded at her progress. I, myself, was not surprised at all. Either was anyone in our family or around Briana. I am so grateful for the power of the priesthood and that miracles are still being performed here on earth today. Briana is a walking miracle. I am so blessed to be able to witness this great miracle in her life. I know that her positive attitude and strong faith in the Lord has been a huge part of her recovery. I am so thankful to so many who have prayed and fasted on her behalf. I have even felt the blessings from the power of prayer from the comfort that has come. What a great day!!!

Garrett learns to ride a bike
On January 1st Sam Elliott brought Garrett a new two wheel bike. Garrett was so excited. Sam put him on and Garrett took off like an old pro. 3 years old and off and riding. He did a great job. He still can't start or stop very well but every day he gets better. Now that he can ride a two wheel bike he can keep up with Jack and Buddy much better. No one can tell him that he's not big now.
